Women's Captivating Retreat

I was soooo excited to go up to the Colorado Rockies, for the first time, for a Women’s Retreat at the beginning of this month. I felt so free & like a kid…just appreciating every moment. I went with three girlfriends of mine (who were an incredible support for me, during this season of my life)...that’s Laural goofin’ around with me there in the cabin (she would come & stay with me the night before many chemo treatments, drive me in the a.m. & hang out for hours). Thanks Sean (her husband), for being willing to sacrifice being without your wife for the night, so she could come and stay with me…

So, now I’ve been on a trip to Michigan (to see my family & friends) & to Colorado since chemo ended in November.

Btw, my hair is growing back in as thick & wavy as ever. I decided to color it (I’ve always loved coloring my hair…it’s fun mixing up the colors & styles). But, this time, I really wanted to go with a “natural” hair color… I found a “semi-permanent” color that has no PPD’s, no Resorcinol, no Ammonia & no Peroxide. Right now, I have a bit of an auburn color (from the first color)... kinda fun for something different. It has almost an artsy “feel” when I work in the molding paste & put on my glasses…Most of all though, I’m soooo excited to just have “my” hair coming back in! And soon I’ll probably go to work without my wig.

Does anyone else have any recommendations on “permanent” natural hair dyes that have worked well? I would ideally like to find one that doesn’t have any of the above mentioned chemicals…but, tough, I know…

Great photo thanks for sharing. The fun is apparent!

I have no clue about the hair question but have a family member that does a fabulous job so I’ll ask if you would like.
